Owned and led the development of an internal tool that automates creation of Visual Studio 2012 load test rigs on Azure.
ATE has now been used by various large global Microsoft product teams and customer engagements. One of these load testing engagements (Netherlands) won the "Most Innovative" award at a Microsoft Internal Conference (5000+ attendees).

Developed a system to allow customers to automatically transfer their bank accounts. The solution is built using .NET and Windows Workflow 4.0.
Successfully led the development team for Release 2 (at its peak, the team consisted of 10 developers, running for 3 months). Release was delivered early.
Feature lead on the "Balance Transfer" part of the system.
The project won the "Best Collaboration" award at a Microsoft Internal Conference (5000+ attendees).

Developed a security PoC with the Azure security product team to provide single-sign-on and minimal disclosure, using Azure and Claims-based-Auth.

Developed a platform to allow marketing websites to be rapidly spun up, as well as provide detailed capture and analyse site usage (using C#, ASP.NET, Azure, MVC, SharePoint 2012, Entity Framework).

Development Lead on a project to build a BI solution for marketing analytics (using C#, SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server Analysis Services).
Implemented Scrum across a team of 9 people.

Built a solution to repeatedly automate setup, provisioning and management of SharePoint intranet sites. Built a suite of PowerShell scripts to fulfil clients’ requirements.
Subsequently harvested (and white-labelled) scripts as IP; they have now been used as an accelerator across the majority of large SharePoint 2010 development projects at MCS UK.

Feature lead for phase 1 and Development Lead for phase 2 of a SharePoint based internet site to capture environmental statistics.

Development lead for an offshore team, building an intranet landing site for 80000+ employees (using SharePoint, C#, ASP.NET). I won a Microsoft Great People. Great Performance award for my work on this project

Worked on a system to digitize and archive analogue / tape media. My role involved migrating areas of functionality to consume data from external systems using WCF.

Feature lead building a solution to monitor offshore oil installations. This system facilitated real time monitoring, trending and maintenance scheduling on oil rigs in multiple North Sea fields (using C# and SharePoint).
